Translate subtitles
to Vietnamese
Vietnamese, where the hard part is that there is no neutral you: the pronoun pair a translator picks states the age and relationship of the speakers. Labels from a table: [CƯỜI], [THỞ DÀI].
How it works for Vietnamese
Upload an English .srt or .vtt file, or a season as a zip. Cues travel to the model in batches of 32 so a sentence that spans two cues is translated as one thought. Every Vietnamese cue then passes thirteen structural checks; whatever fails goes back with the exact complaint attached, and an editor pass sweeps the whole file for register and idiom. You download the subtitles and a quality report, and the upload is deleted.
What the Vietnamese profile checks
- The model is told to choose the pronoun pair (anh/em, chị/em, ông/cháu, tôi/bạn) from the age and relationship of the speakers and keep it for each pair. Cues travel in batches of 32 so it can see the conversation.
- Same-alphabet guard: Vietnamese function words and pronouns are required in the output, so a cue that kept English pronouns is caught.
- Sound labels from a table, in the Vietnamese convention of tiếng plus the sound: [TIẾNG CƯỜI], [TIẾNG GÕ CỬA], [CHUÔNG ĐIỆN THOẠI].
- No human reference has been sourced yet, so there is no published baseline.
Sound labels, from the table
Labels for the deaf and hard of hearing are resolved from a fixed Vietnamesetable before the model sees the text, so they are never invented. Three entries, exactly as the table renders them:
- [LAUGHS]
- [CƯỜI]
- [DOOR CLOSES]
- [CỬA ĐÓNG]
- [PHONE RINGS]
- [CHUÔNG ĐIỆN THOẠI]
Is Vietnamese measured?
No usable human reference has been found for Vietnamese yet, so there is no published baseline. The same thirteen structural checks run on every Vietnamese cue regardless, and the quality report in your download lists what they found.
Price and time
One credit translates about 20,000 characters of dialogue, roughly a 25-minute episode; a feature film is about three. Credits are $1.25 each in packs, the first episode is free, and there is no subscription. An episode takes a few minutes; you get an email when it is ready.
