to Hungarian
Hungarian is agglutinative and related to nothing around it, so a model has nowhere to drift to; what goes wrong is length and register. te/ön/maga held per speaker, labels conjugated for singular and plural.
How it works for Hungarian
Upload an English .srt or .vtt file, or a season as a zip. Cues travel to the model in batches of 32 so a sentence that spans two cues is translated as one thought. Every Hungarian cue then passes thirteen structural checks; whatever fails goes back with the exact complaint attached, and an editor pass sweeps the whole file for register and idiom. You download the subtitles and a quality report, and the upload is deleted.
What the Hungarian profile checks
- Length ratios are set for an agglutinative language (0.45 to 2.0 of the source).
- te, ön and maga matched to the relationship between speakers and kept consistent; „…” quotes.
- Same-alphabet guard: Hungarian function words are required in the output. is and a, which are also English words, are left off so an English line cannot pass.
- Hungarian verbs carry person, so the label table gives singular and plural: [NEVET], [NEVETNEK].
- No human reference has been sourced yet, so there is no published baseline.
Sound labels, from the table
Labels for the deaf and hard of hearing are resolved from a fixed Hungariantable before the model sees the text, so they are never invented. Three entries, exactly as the table renders them:
- [LAUGHS]
- [NEVET]
- [DOOR CLOSES]
- [AJTÓ CSUKÓDIK]
- [PHONE RINGS]
- [TELEFON CSÖRÖG]
Is Hungarian measured?
No usable human reference has been found for Hungarian yet, so there is no published baseline. The same thirteen structural checks run on every Hungarian cue regardless, and the quality report in your download lists what they found.
